Hello. This is my Instructional Technology blog. Very exciting. I am looking forward to making technology a useful tool in the classroom. http://www.j-breeze.blogspot.com/
http://www.history.com/- This is a website that is all about history. The reason I put it on here is because E will be teaching a history class. This will allow me to always have a way to start my classes out with a fun historical fact. It will also allow me to have a quick way to check myself if i forget dates.
http://prezi.com/-I used a prezi for a couple assignments in my classes this semester. It was a cool way to present my information because it wasnt just a boring powerpoint. It is fun for both the maker, and the students observing.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/- This is a Bible website. I do believe that there is no compairson to reading the Bible on paper, but i enjoy being able to look a passage up in a matter of seconds. This allows the user to tyep in topics and names to find scripture. It even lets me read in many different versions of the Bible. How sweet is that?!
http://odb.org/- The is a website that has daily stories and scriptures to help readers think of God and reflect on their lives. There is an audio reader, soft calm music, and he prays at the end. I try to visit every day knowing it can help in my Spiritual walk.
http://www.funbrain.com/-This is a site that is fun for kids to get on and enhance learning. The can play games and read popular comics. Most kids will have access to internet. We should use this tool to our advantage!
http://www.digitalcitizenship.net/- This site can help teachers and students greatly. Digital citizenship is a big part of our lives since most of us are on some kind of social network. If we ever forget the rules, this is a great site to look at as a refresher. Its worth taking a look at!
http://www.wordle.net/ - Wordle was a fun way to present a group of words. I shared this with my fiance, who is also becoming a teacher, and she loved it. Sometimes it means a lot to students for something to be presented in a new, cool, and fun way. Wordle lets us do that.
http://www.christianity.com/- Christianity.com is a site that lets people come in and read devotionals, discuss current events, and hear what others have to say. It is really cool and something that can really promote Spiritual growth. Its a pretty cool thing when we can email and chat with other believers about things concerning our savior, Jesus.
